This was one of my favorite spots when we would visit family in KC. Located near the Power and Light District it was the perfect place for apps, drinks, a meal... Meet with friends, family, a date... It really had a great vibe. Food was good, cocktails were great, service was awesome. Our favorite employee was Grant (so fun and friendly). But we honestly always had good interactions. Perfect for all size parties. We would recommend!
We got seated right away after everyone cleared out from watching the World Cup game. Our server, Allison was very helpful and was quick to check back in. Our food was delicious. Lots of TVs to watch sporting events. We sat inside but could've sat outside.
The restaurant was a few blocks away from the conference center and a couple of blocks from the free trolley train. There was lots of seating but was usually very busy. Great food and excellent service. The food was delicious and they're were fun drinks. It had TVs everywhere and they went out of their way to make sure you were satisfied with your experience. Highly recommend!
Just flew back to KC from the Philippines for my oldest daughter’s 19th birthday on April 30th. After taking her on a helicopter tour, we wanted to grab dinner somewhere downtown. I’ve made a few other suggestions that I felt would have been better than the Yard House but she chose this place. Our waiter was polite and nice but my daughter was getting kind of annoyed that she kept on having to ask for her salad that she ordered. It ended up coming along with the birthday cake and ice cream which I do appreciate them for making. The food wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t anything impressive. Roughly a $100 dollar tab not including tip, I personally would have rather went someone else. My taste buds are kind of hard to please. But you never know until you go. Maybe you’ll love it!
12/23/25 My wife and I had a tremendous time here lastnight. The food was very good and the service was even better. For our first time here our waiter was so much help with the menu and what was good, sweet and what would be better together. This is fine dining I would say so the prices are not cheap. My wife and I sent about $200 on everything including the tip. But we loved every bit of it. The sweet and favored beers were actually the 💥BOMB 💥!!! Im not a beer guy at all but the beers we had were so FREAKING GOOD!! My wife is looking into getting some shipped to our house if they do that. Thank you again YARD HOUSE, WE WILL BE BACK!!!!
